All red laser pens are not created equal. I use the Qi Pulse Laser Pen, which is a 635 nano-meter wave length laser that can simulate an acupuncture point within about 20 to 30 seconds versus having to wait 20 minutes for a needle. Plus, you don’t feel anything with the laser like you do with the needles making it both very effective and painless.
In case you are wondering, the term wave length refers to the laser wave length the body responds to in order to simulate the body’s acupuncture points. This laser pen I use has what research shows as the most effective wave length: 635 nm. Most red laser pointers operate at the cheaper 645-670 nm wavelength.
